The Magic Carpets of Aladdin is an aerial carousel attraction at Adventureland in the Magic Kingdom. The ride is popular among little kids, and it opened on May 24, 2001. The ride is themed after the 1992 Disney film Aladdin.

Ride synopsis

Guests enter the queue, passing by plants and a camel that squirts guests as they pass by. Much like Adventureland, the ride is themed much like Agrabah, the village shown in Aladdin. Guests then board their "carpet", and fly around in a circle, with the magic lamp in the center of them all. The ride lasts a minute and a half (90 seconds).

Flying Carpets Over Agrabah

The Magic Carpets of Aladdin opened on March 16, 2002 at Walt Disney Studios Park under the name Flying Carpets Over Agrabah. The ride is set in front a movie backdrop of Agrabah, and guests play as extras in the Genie's directorial debut.

Jasmine's Flying Carpets

The ride opened for the third time at Tokyo DisneySea on September 28, 2011, under the name Jasmine's Flying Carpets. The ride, like the rest of the land, is set on an Arabian harbor.
