Mater's Junkyard Jamboree is a spinning attraction located at Cars Land. The ride opened as part of Disney's California Adventure's multi-billion dollar expansion on June 15, 2012.

Ride synopsis

Queue

The ride queue begins unroofed. Then, guests enter a small roofed outdoor building, with the walls covered with license plates. On a nearby wall, guests can see memorabilia from several Tow Mater shorts on Disney Channel. Next, guests enter another outdoor portion, and then the line is separated into two, as the guests split. 

Ride

Riders board their tractor vehicle and swing around for three minutes, while Mater tells guests his corny jokes and sings several songs. At night, the lanterns above each ride, glow, similar to the effect used on the Mad Tea Party ride. The spinning tractor ride is similar to Francis' Ladybug Boogie in the neighboring A Bug's Land.

Trivia

• The ride has one Hidden Mickey (although it hasn't been confirmed). On the top of the nearby building, tires are thrown on the roof. If guests look closely, three tires were thrown together to form a Mickey.
